ECO LABEL & CERTIFICATION
We support seafood companies and fisheries in meeting global sustainability requirements—especially through schemes such as the Marine Stewardship Council (MSC) Certification—while ensuring fair and responsible resource management. Our approach goes beyond compliance: we translate complex certification standards into practical actions that work in real fisheries.
We work closely with industry, fishers, and supporting organizations to prepare fisheries and supply chains for certification processes, including MSC Certification, in ways that are transparent, inclusive, and locally grounded.
What we do:
- Coordination with assessors, stakeholders, and certification bodies
- Pre-assessment and readiness checks for fisheries and supply chains, including MSC Certification readiness
- Gap analysis against eco-label and certification standards (MSC)
- Development of practical action plans aligned with certification requirements
- Support for implementation and progress tracking
- Year 3 review and continuous improvement planning

FISHERIES IMPROVEMENT PROJECTS (FIPs)
We collaborate with NGOs, industry, fishers, and local governments to design and implement Fisheries Improvement Projects (FIPs) that drive measurable change in fisheries performance in FisheryProgress platform.
As FIP Consultant, we support from early design to long-term implementation, focusing on building local ownership and strong multi-stakeholder collaboration.
What we do:
- FIP scoping and design
- Stakeholder mapping and engagement
- Development of workplans and improvement strategies
- Facilitation of multi-stakeholder meetings
- Monitoring, evaluation, and progress reporting
- Social Responsibility Assessment (SRA) for FIP
- Integration of social action plans into FIP workplans
- Year 3 review and continuous improvement planning

TRAINING & CAPACITY BUILDING
We believe sustainable fisheries depend on strong local capacity. That is why we focus on building skills, knowledge, and leadership among fisheries actors—especially local practitioners who understand both global standards and local context.
Our training combines technical knowledge with practical experience, helping participants apply what they learn directly in their work.
What we do:
- Training on eco-labels, certification, and FIP frameworks
- Development of training modules and learning materials
- Facilitation of workshops and field-based learning
- Mentoring and coaching for emerging practitioners
- Support for institutional and community-based learning programs
- Fisheries and supply chain studies
- Stakeholder consultations and interviews
- Development of policy briefs and reports

OUR WORK
KOLEKTIF PORTOFOLIO
Building Change Together
Across Indonesia and beyond, we have worked with fishers, communities, industry, government, NGOs, and international partners to translate sustainability commitments into real change on the ground. Each project represents a learning journey, shaped by local context, collaboration, and a shared commitment to people and the ocean.
Our work spans fisheries improvement as FIP Consultant, eco-label and certification support, social responsibility, training and capacity building, and applied research. Together, these projects tell the story of how we turn ideas, standards, and policies into meaningful impact.
